What Cats Do Book Tag

Foto 18-8-17 2 54 48 p.m.

I found this tag on Kirsty’s Book reviews and since I have an adorable 3 year-old cat named Shiru, I decided to do an homage to her with this.. Nobody tagged me which is a common event but it certainly doesn’t stop me from doing the tags…I’m sort of addicted…Anyway, before getting into the thick of things..

Everyone, meet my lovely Shiru, she’s 3 years old and has been with us since she was 4 weeks old more or less. We rescued her, she was abandoned while she was very little…but thankfully she has grown into a  healthy and strong little devil and has become an important part of our family…

SIDENOTE: Never abandoned a pet, it’s the worst thing you can do, you are condemning the animal (Dog, Cat, Whatever) to a slow death, so please don’t do it…Don’t be a disgusting human being…

Moving on to the questions..

As cats do this when they’re happy or relaxed, what is the book that makes you happiest or relaxed?

Books in general are relaxing to me, even if they are a bit on the dark side or just a tear-jerker. They’ve always helped me cope with whatever is going on in my life, and believe it or not have kept me sane through some hard times. They are a way to escape reality safely I guess and we need that sometimes.

So I can’t chose just one exactly but for the time being I’m addicted to YA fantasy and the more adventure it has the better…Like Six Of Crows, A Court Of Wings and Ruin, and so far The Dark Side Of the Moon By E.S. Bell.

What is a book that put you to sleep or was just boring?

Right now I’ve been trying to read Blackbird by Molly McAdams and I will probably DNF it i’m just not into it at all…I don’t know if it’s the subject, writing style or what exactly but I’m just muddling through it and it’s not worth the effort for me.

Seems to Play Nice…Until the Claws are Out

Which book had the biggest plot twist?

I usually know what’s coming when it comes to the books I read and I don’t read many Thrillers that are filled with suspense. I guess I’ll go with Push by Claire Wallis, It surprised me a bit how it played out, how such a twisted relationship developed between the main characters.

Which book character would you give a hug to?

David from What to Say Next by Julie Buxbaum…He’s so adorable and this book was great, what an amazing take on someone with Asperger syndrome, such a natural voice…I love it.

What’s a book that made you have warm and fuzzy feels?

Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan …It still does when I re read it and that’s not an easy thing because our view changes with time but I still love this as much as I did…Such a sweet romance.

Cat Breeds

What are your favorite books?

The list would be sooo loong, I love fantasy, Romance, Adventure, Humour, Steamy Chemistry and well develop characters so, if a book has a nice mix of this it would probably become a favorite.

Getting the Cat

How did you find your favorite book(s)?

Funny enough, quite a few of the books that have become favorites to me I found randomly coursing through the internet, Goodreads, Book Tube, and Book blogs.. Some have been recommendations from friends but this doesn’t happen often my friends don’t read as much as I do…. Which is why I love Book Blogging and getting in touch with read-a-holics like me…

The Vet’s Office

 Your least favorite book:

One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, This was a required reading for high school when I was a student and I remember hating this book, it was awful and I know that it’s an award winning writer and book but the story just dragged on and it was insufferable for me…

Being in Places They Shouldn’t

 Least favorite cliche:

Not so much a cliche but a Trope, the Love triangle. I hesitate to pick up a book when I know that there’s one in it…

Final Question: The Good Old Cardboard Box

 Most underrated book series:

For some reason the one that comes to mind is Julie Kawaga’s Iron Fey series. I read this a while ago and I remember living it, it’s about Fae so, of course I would. But it had nice characters and a very decent story line, maybe I should give it a re-read to see if I still enjoy it as much..

This has been the What Cats Do Book tag, I hope you guys enjoyed it
