Halloween Book Tag

We needed a fitting book tag for today since Halloween is tomorrow…Yaaayyy!!! I love Halloween even if it’s not as celebrated over here (Venezuela). Cultural differences and such, but it has grown a bit in recent years (more like in the US) so we do get to see some kids in costumes asking for candy…and of course the usual costume party here and there with creepy decor and the whole shebang…

As for me, I love the history behind the celebration, the meaning it has and the fantasy of it…I’m a Horror fanatic so everything that involves supernatural creatures for fun has a special place in my heart….We also get to be a little like kids, putting up our decorations and preparing the candy and costumes…It’s like a creepy Christmas….

Any way let me get back on track here, I found this tag (perfect for Halloween) over @The Sassy Book Geek (go check out her blog if you haven’t) Let’s get to the questions…

1.) Favorite Scary (Must Read) For Halloween?

I’m going to recommend IT by Stephen King…Why?? Simple, you have Creepy clowns and Stephen King what’s scarier than that??? However, I truly think that you should just stick with the book that managed to put the chill on your spine when you read it….No matter which book it was….Halloween is the time to be a little scared after all..

2.) Scariest Book Cover, Like Ever?

The girl in the well by Rin Chupeco….It reminds me of the Grudge an every Asian ghost movie I’ve seen and I found them freaking creepy….

3.) If You Could Go Trick-or-Treating With Any Author, Who Would You Pick?

Penelope Douglas, She has a soft spot for all things Halloween like me and loves Classic Horror movies, I think it would be a lot of fun to hang out with her..

4.) If You Could Dress Up As Any Bookish Character For Halloween, Who Would You Be?

Feyre, from A Court of Thorns and Roses….I love the dress on the cover of the books…I would love to wear something like that..

5.) If You Could Find Anything (From Any Book) In Your Trick-or-Treat Stash, What Would You Hope To Find?

A pet Dragon….It would be so cool to have that

6.) In What Fictional World Would You Like To Go Trick-or-Treating?

I usually read books about worlds that are either at war or are downright destroyed (Dystopian) so, I don’t think that would be the best environment to go trick or treating….However I would have love to be a part of the misbehaving in the Devil’s night series by Penelope Douglas, wearing those mask and being mischievious….Just chilling with the Horsemen….(if you have read the books you will understand and if you haven’t…What are you waiting for??)

7.) What Book Villain Would You Not Like To Meet Alone In A Dark Alley On Halloween?

Stryga the Weaver of the Woods from ACOTAR…A creature that can literally suck the life out of you?? What can be worse than that

8.) Would You Rather Dress Up As A Vampire, Zombie, Werewolf, or Shadowhunter?

Vampire, I actually have done it already….It was a lot of fun…

9.) Pick A Candy (Just One) From Harry Potter That You Would Love To Find In Your Stash?

I have no idea, I haven’t read Harry Potter (Please don’t kill me) so, I wouldn’t know what to chose..

10.) What Is Your Favorite Halloween Candy?

Cupcakes….Halloween Cupcakes…..And Chocolate, lots and lots of chocolate….. By the way these cupcakes were homemade…I used to sale them…what do you think??

This has been my Halloween Book Tag, hope you enjoy it a bit and I’m here Wishing you guys an eerie, spooky, hair-raising, spell-binding Halloween!

As Always

Happy Reading
