Hey guys!! You might be curious about that tittle but let me begin by saying that this is going to be my last wrap up of the year because holidays are hectic and I always take a little hiatus from blogging ( I do try to leave a few things scheduled but otherwise I’m not that present) I also want to thank you guys for sticking with me all through this year.. it’s amazing being able to ramble with all of you about the silliest and not so silly things that go through my head..bookish and none bookish..thanks so much for that you are appreciated..
Now let me explain a little bit about that title, The thing is that I had planned to binge read The Throne of Glass series this month… it was going to be my thing, and I did start… I read Throne of Glass ( more of a re-read but still) and then I was reading something else so I would rest between books — And then I pick up another book, and another, and I kept saying I’ll read the next one in the series after this one.. and I kept going just like this until I realized that I only read Throne of Glass and that’s it on my supposed goal for november… So now you understand …
Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining at all because it was a great reading month regardless of my project crashing and burning .. I read 14 books this month, some manga and even a graphic novel (kind of) So you see, all is well.. no matter what…
Let me get to the books..
- Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas — 3 Stars — It was a re-read and I can tell you that I lowered my rating on this book… It’s not a bad book at all, and I still like it but I guess that I have read so many books similar to it that it’s just another average fantasy…
- Balance by Lucia Franco — 3 Stars — This one was a hard book to rate because I felt like when you are watching a train wreck … you know it’s awful what it’s happening but you can’t look away, I’m planning on an extended review of the series ( because of course it is a series)
- Disgrace by Brittainy C. Cherry — 3.5 Stars — I like the overall message of this book but I had issues with some of the characters and all the angst… It was still an emotional book.
- Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan — 4 Stars — This book wasn’t at all what I was expecting and I say this in the best way possible, It left me wanting to grab the second one right away ( sadly I didn’t have it..)
- Styx by Layla Frost — 3 Stars — I’m still not sure about giving this book a 3 stars because even though some of the stuff that happened was so ludicrous it made me laugh and the original idea was interesting… I wasn’t a fan of the writing and the characters…
- A Nordic King by Karina Halle — 3 Stars — Good fluffy and mindless royal romance…
- The Darkest Star by Jennifer L. Armentrout — 4.5 Stars — Let just say.. I WANT THE NEXT BOOK NOW!! I know that quite a few people aren’t huge fans of the Lux series but for me it’s like eating candy… I just love the humour, the silliness, the romance… all of it..
- Persuasion by T. M. Frazier — 3.5 Stars — I need to have my dark read and this one was very, very dark…
- Fall by Kristen Callihan — 4 Stars — Great rock star romance and a surprising representation of depression.. I know what that’s like and I could relate…
- Runaway Girl by Anne Eliot — 3 Stars — On this side of Okay but I do want to know what happens in the next book…
- Trailer Par Heart by Rachel Higginson — 3.5 Stars — Although I loved the Hero of this story he was so adorably devoted.. it felt a little bit over the top which lower my rating… but it’s a sweet read..
Mangas and Graphic Novels
- LDK by Ayu Watanabe — 3 Stars — Some arcs were better than others but overall it’s an okay Shoujo…
- Adulthood is a myth and Herding Cats By Sarah Andersen — 4 Stars — It’s me on this strips… I was laughing so hard while reading….
This was my November in a nutshell, I’m still on my two digit reading which makes me very happy so, I’m counting a success for the procrastination Queen….

Great reading month! Sometimes I also intend to read a book (for me it’s Obsidio), but procrastinate with other books. I’m not sure if it’s because I loved the first two books and am worried this one will disappoint. Anyway, “see” you in January/February. Happy holidays!

Omg, I can never do the rereads. I always TRY to do it, but I have the same problem. I’ll pick one book up and then get distracted by a million otherssssssss. Too many new releases and more! I wish you luck, and I’m intrigued to see your thoughts on a full binge read. And yes, blogging breaks can be needed with the holiday madness. Thank you so so much for including our post. You are so sweet to say that, and I’m whipping out the blog hug time. Thank you again, and great post as always! 🙂
