Reviews – Riot House, IOU and Evil Love

It’s reviewing time bookworms, and I have three New Adult books set in college (DUH) some with bully themes.. and others just plain rom-coms.. let’s get to it.

Book: Riot House

Author: Callie Hart

RD: April 29, 2020

New Adult, Bully Romance

This book was a surprisingly entertaining read. I always start this kind of Bully new adult romances with low expectations because they tend to either get over the top (which I sometimes enjoy ) or down right ridiculous but this one was pretty well done. It had an aspect of mystery linked to the story that I liked a lot and my only complain would be the insta love/lust but I guess it comes with the territory. Overall I enjoyed it, and it was a prety fast read.. looking forward to the next in the series.

Book: IOU

Author: Kristy Marie

RD: April 29, 2020

New Adult, College, Romance

This book was so much fun.. the characters and their quirks, their inner monolgues (particularly our heroines) was hilarious.. how the relationship builds up.. it was really good and I had laughing out loud moments with how funny and even ridiculous these guys were at times — but all in good way. If you are looking for a fun, light, not overly dramatic (although there is some drama) book check this one out.

Book: Evil Love

Author: Ella Fields

RD: September 3, 2020

New Adult, College, Romance

I enjoy Ella Fields’ books, and one I start reading one I know what I’m getting into — over the top drama — this book was no exception, if you know her style I’m sure you’ll love this book..  There are so many secrets, twists and turns, revelations that come out of nowhere in this book that you are going to be screaming WTF every time… there’s a lot of steam.. and funny enough you will root for them and also wish they would just go their separate ways… it is that kind of book.. the one that will put you through the ringer, so, if angst and drama aren’t your cup of tea back off now.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think about them? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.. If you enjoy my content and would like to help me out go to my Ko-fi page and buy me a coffee to show your support. It would be very much appreciated.

As Always

Happy Reading
