Hey Guys! 2020 is finally over.. Let’s hope things get better from now on … Realistically speaking, we all know it will take some time but let’s hang in there for the time being. This past year was HELL! literally, at least for me. Anything that could go wrong in my life went wrong, so I was barely hanging on..

For a good portion of the year I was barely reading, if you have followed me for a while you must have notice I was absent on all my platforms.. I’m barely starting to get back into the thick of things on the blog and Twitter.. Instagram is taking a bit longer than I expected. I was solely focus on caring for my Mom, who has been quite ill… Still is, sadly. Reading and blogging were an afterthought.

So, it was surprising to me that even under this circumstances I had managed to read 100 books this year.. acoording to my Goodreads Challenge. So, Why not share with you guys those books that stayed with me throught my bad times.. because I can honestly tell you I don’t remember most of the 100 books I supposedly read (that should tell you something huh?)

Let’s get to them:

There’s no order to them, these are just the books that either helped me get throught a rough time, keeping me sane. Or just books that surprised me. Funny enough most of my anticipated releases are not on this list because I have yet to read them…

Saving Askara

I’m not really a hardcore Sci/Fi reader but this Duology was pretty interesting (and it has a great Romance story too) It was about learning from our differences, acceptance and understanding.

Credence

I just had to have a Penelope Douglas book here (Since I have yet to finish the Devil’s night Series) I just adore how she pushes boundaries and writes books that may or may not be comfortable reading material for everyone.. I just love it.

The Guy on the Left

49226468._SX98_

I adore this whole series, and if you are looking for the perfect amount of angst, sexy, romance, fun I would strongly recommend all these books.

When you Come back To me

50235824._SX98_

This book packs a punch, it makes you think.. It’s sweet, sad, steamy.. a seamless romance tale and personal growth.

The Traitor Queen

50719471._SX98_

This is my Underdog, I just love the adventure and the whole tale. Even the slow bits.

A Girl’s Guide to Poker

42255092._SX98_

For those looking to learn something new, and even for those who already know how to play. This book was surprisingly funny and easy.

The Man Who Acts

55442050._SX98_

A book to learn from, just leaving it at that.

Under the Sycamore Tree

52017136._SX98_

This is the book that should come with a warning, I’m going to wreck you.. in the best possible way …

The Darkest Night

49247265._SX98_

And this is the book that had me screaming WHAT THE HELL? I need the next book NOW!!!!

Sekaiichi Hatsukoi

8562693._SX98_

And Last but not least we have a Manga on the list, this was the story that started my weird Yaoi obssession.. such a fun read, romance, staeminess, sweet moments, angst, it has everything…

Hope you enjoyed the list and let me know in the comments if you have read any of these books and what you thought about them… Also which were your top Books for 2020 leave a link to your posts, video, any social media in the comments and let’s share the love… And don’t forget if you want to help me keep on creating and making you at least smile a bit with my quirky posts just buy me a coffee (Ko-fi page) and support my work.

As Always

Happy Reading

  1. Lovely list! ❤️I’ve never seen Saving Askara but it sounds good even though it’s different from what I usually read. The Guy on the Left has been on my TBR for a while now and I’m excited to read it! ☺️ Thanks for sharing- picking top books is hard, I just wrote my post and it took me forever 🙈 Happy new year!

  2. Ohh I heard interesting things about Credence! I still have to read any of the Penelope Douglas books – I wonder if I should wait for my next birthday to read Birthday Girl or just go for it?? I’m glad books helped keep you a bit sane this year! Here’s to 2021 being a much, much better year for everyone!
