Grant Snider’s “My Bookshelf” Book Tag

It’s been a while since I felt in the mood to do a Book Tag, mostly for two reasons. One, life sucks (but let’s not get into that) and two, I felt that I was sharing the same books over and over again and it got boring..

But recently inspiration struck me.. in the form of Grant Snider’s comics. I love his work and his Bookshelf Cartoon strip felt like a book tag waiting to happen, hence this post.. All the credit goes to his work which is awesome. Check out his book “I will Judge you by Your Bookshelf” if you still haven’t, it’s great.

As usual I’ll try to work with more recent reads to keep things interesting, Now Let’s get started:

1.- Book I couldn’t put down..

 

Creedence by Penelope Douglas (no surprise there) and Sekai ichi Hatsukoi, I was devouring every volume of this manga like my life depended on it..

2.- Book I couldn’t Pick Up..

Not because is bad but because I don’t want the series to end — I know it did already but I don’t have to know that… Nightfall by Penelope Douglas

3.- Book You gave me and I haven’t read yet..

The Final Empire (Mistborn) by Brandon Sanderson, It was a gift from ages ago and I have yet to read it… sorry…

4.- Book I brought to the beach..

I don’t do that.. my precious would get damaged…

5.- Book I tried so hard to like..

Barbarian Love by Ruby Dixon .. I now it’s a popular romance series but I just couldn’t get into it…

6.- Book I Own 3 Copies Of ..

The Petit Prince, One is from my college years, one is an ebook and the other was just there at home since I don’t know when.

7.- Book that saved my life..

Each and everyone, they help keep me sane..

8.- Book I lent … Can I please have it back?

The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by A. N. Rouquelarre (Anne Rice) It taught me the danger of lending books…

9.- Book I fall asleep to..

My Current read Hands Down by Mariana Zapata

10.- Book I mistook for a hat..

Seriously??

11.- Book I’m desperately trying to write..

I would love to write a book, it’s a goal of mine but I find it quite intimidating.. so who knows?

12.- Books that changed my life..

Each and everyone, they gave peace, perspective, joy, rage.. Books are my friends..
