Horimiya and Haikyuu — Manga Review

Hello fellow bookworms, Im still going through My Manga reading fest (Its easier For me to read manga, when I have trouble focusing my attention.. And that has been happening a lot lately) Moving on from dark subjects I wanted to discuss two awesome Manga and their Anime AdaptationHori San to Miramuya Kun (Horimiya) and Haiku (I know Im a little late to this bandwagon But I Dont care). Let the manga Galore begin..

This manga is exactly what every cute slice of life should be… it has Great characters, Comedic episodes, relatable situations and The most adorable romanceIm serious theres not just one thing to pick as well as not just one character to love

We start with the premise of appearances Vs who we really are… Hori is clean and cute girl At school while At home shes just pure comfort due to having to take care of her little brother and all the house chores…. Miyamura is quiet and gloomy at school chosing to keep himself separate for reasons we’ll learn as we read while he’s true nature actually is Kind and silly, even with his edgy look.

They get to know each other By chance outside of school, and they realize they have so much in commonthey just click and you will click with Them as wellBut they are not The only characters that will strike your heart, Theres an incredible group of friends that are just as important as our main leadsWe will see them all  grow, and deal with their everyday life.. Funny situations, as well as sad ones… The manga has an episodic Feel to it.. And It works greatIts still an ongoing series, But Its supposed to be ending soon I believe (Im going to be sad when It happens)

The Anime adaptation is currently airing and Its one of The best I’ve seen.. It captures The heart of The manga, Even If they do cut a few Things here and there.. Also The artwork and animation are beautiful. Just go watch it or read it if you are a manga reading fan like me, and even if you’re not it might surprise you.

If I had to choose a word to describe this particular manga It would be TeamworkThis is what is all about, and yet it’s also about so much more, the competition, healthy rivalry, character growth, and friendship

Its one of The best sports manga Ive read (Where The plot is mostly based on The game and The team) It amaze to watch them go from a down on their luck Volley ball team to one of The Top competitorsBit By bit, they explore their individual talents and Make them work for the team it’s so fulfilling to watch….

I have to admit that I started reading The manga after watching The anime, so Im biased (more of an anime fan than the manga in this case).. Seeing The plays animated is much more exciting than in the manga but The emotion still comes across quite well.. I am. Slightly disappointed that The artwork in The anime went a bit downhill ( That awful 4th season) But It is still a great series to read and watch..
