Urban Fantasy is one of my favorite genres, it’s been a little while since I read a book on this genre so when I was asked to review this story I was excited … it sounded like a really fun ride and I wasn’t wrong..
Fallen by E. Prybylski
Like I mentioned before, Urban Fantasy it’s a favorite genre of mine because it was one of The first Genres I got hooked on when I became a 24/7 kind of a reader.. So, stories with this setting have a special place in my heart. But I can also be quite critical… because of that.
This book has all The formula To make It an enjoyable ride.. Interesting world set up.. Action, humour, fun banter… And a deep inner conflict We experience right alongside our protagonist… She’s not only fighting demons but she’s also has to deal with her inner struggle..
And that Is What takes The cake For me.. The characters, they are relatable, fun, True To themselves and their relationships with one another.. I adored that. It makes them so real to the reader.
There are some minor hiccups that I’m sure will be polished on Upcoming books, It’s a début book after all and they weren’t so jarring to take the fun of reading…
I would recommend this book If you want a few hours of disconnection from reality and to jump into the shoes of a kick ass heroine.
