Hey fellow bookworms, I have for you guys today the next instalment in The Talisman Series a fantasy series that I cannot stress enough how good it is… Particularly if you want to make a family activity of it. It’s an adventure that anyone can enjoy regardless of their age.. So let’s jump right into it..
Desperate Tides, Desperate Measures by Brett Salter
This book made me feel conflicted… Not for the reasons you might be thinking, but I’m now all caught up and I want to know what happens…
This next installment in The Talisman series is just as good if not better than the previous ones..
We still have our now very familiar and well loved characters, Julian and Rome (still being Chivalrious, loyal, fun, and just plain adorable) kicking ass. Facing a “new” foe? I’ll leave you with that mind twist.
But we also get Elementals… I love Elemental magic storylines, so this was like a gift for my bookworm self..
Brett Salter knows how to blend a lot of lore and myths into a fresh world.. it’s a feat to be admired. I’ll be stalking him lowkey until the next book comes out..LOL
One piece of advice. This is a great series to read with your kids, it works great for a broad audience. However, it needs to be read in order to fully appreciate it and get sucked into the world.. it’s so really worth it and not a hardship at all. So give this series a try.
