Hey fellow book addicts! How’s everything going? It’s crazy to think that we are so very close to the end of 2022 (and to be honest I just want it over.. this year has not been kind to me). But let’s put that aside and talk about happier and more challenging things, shall we?
Tropeathon starts on Monday Nov14th – if you don’t know what Tropeathon is click here to find out – And as per usual, I put together one hell of a TBR… In my defense, this round is about Fantasy romance and I love that, so there’s a lot of books to choose from… and I do have a problem choosing, so, it was a match made in hell…
There are 15 tropes to cover in this round and I have a book (more like 3) for each one… It will be a 3 week readathon, so that means that I will need to read a book a day to complete the bingo board as I have it now —
Will I do it? … Probably not, but I’ll have fun trying though, and that’s all that matters. Before I talk a bit about the books I have on my list, I want to remind you that if you want to join me and my friend Misty (cohost) you are very welcome .. all the information you need is on the lnk at the beginning of this post.
Now let’s get to the books and their tropes:
- Arranged Marriage – Married by Wind by Angela J. Ford : This is part of a multi-author series that features arranged marriages with the fae and I was so intrigued, and tropeathon was the perfect excuse to get my butt reading them..
- Lost Princess/Prince – A Court Beyond the Mist by L. J. Swallow
- Kill The Monarch – Prisoner of Steel and Shadow by Meg Anne
- Fated Mates – Prince of Fire by Riley Storm
- Fairytale Retelling – The Night Queen by Denise Daye
- Save the Kingdom – The Lost Kingdom by Raven Storm
- The Quest – The Dragon and his Prince by Adara Wolf : A prince that needs to hunt down a dragon only to fall for him.. I thought it would be hilarious because he certainly wasn’t expecting that to happen..
- Free Spot – A Thread of Gold by Eliza Eveland: Finally continuing with this series, and I’m so excited about this book.
- Hero’s Journey – Dark Cravings by Joel Abernathy
- Enemies To Lovers – The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent
- Elemental Magic – Prince of Flowers by Nazri Noor. a bit of a stretch on the trope but I wanted to read this book..
- Myths and Legends – Veil of Gods and Kings by Nicole Bailey
- Break a Curse – A Prince of Blood and Bone by Jessica Ash
- Reluctant Hero – Shadow Wizard by Jeffe Kennedy
- Crossing the Veil – Rogue’s Pawn by Jeffe Kennedy: She’s one of my top favorite fantasy romance authors, so you bet a few of her books will be here
There you have it, a preliminary list of what I hope to read for the next 3 weeks… it could all go to hell and become a totally different thing (most likely), but as I said, I will be having a lot of fun with this round of Tropeathon..
Let me know in the comments below if you have read any of these books and what you think about them… also share your TBR for tropeathon if you are joining us this time around…
