Let me Recommend.. Books for those who love The Little Mermaid

IMG_5406

Hey fellow bookworms, How’s life going? I’m in hectic mode as always … I’m moving out soon, so things are crazy… which means that my posting schedule will continue to be all over the place… I’m so sorry about that.

I will be keeping up with my reviews and with a few other things here and there (like this recommendation post you find yourself reading right now) but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up because there’s a lot on my plate at the moment.

Okay, excuses out of the way, let’s go back to the happy place of me telling you what to read…. clears throat… So, are you a lover or a hater of Live Action Remakes? I’m not quite a hater, but I don’t generally like them either… I think they tend to look creepy and weird… there’s so much you can get away with in animation that doesn’t quite work in real life…

Why am I rambling about this? Well, soon The Little Mermaid’s live action will make its appearance in a theater near you…LOL… So, I just wanted to offer that bookworm option of steamy merfolk stories… whether you love or hate the movie, I’m positive you’ll get a kick out of these recommendations..

Fair warning, this is part of a paranormal series that I would recommend you read, but you can enjoy the book without doing so… it’s just the fun of having more worldbuilding and context to the stories… We have a tortured shifter hero so kind of a selkie but not exactly in a contemporary setting fighting big baddies all around… lots of adventure and steamy times.

A Mermaid’s Kiss by Joey W. Hill

One of my top favorites on this list because it’s freaking hot… plus we have an archangel who is the top alpha, a damsel in distress mermaid who ends up saving the world and chaos, destruction, prophecies throughout the story… lots of fun.

Tortured Hero and a sassy selkie (more traditional with the lore) and how they help each other heal … there’s a great chemistry between the characters and it’s a fast story to read.

Stealing The Wind by Shira Anthony

Another favorite of mine… Take Little Mermaid, add magical powers, an end of the world plot and heart-breaking betrayal… plus MM action and you have this story in a gist…Be warned that it is a trilogy and it should be read in order… It’s all out so that’s good.

Siren’s Call by Devyn Quinn

Adventure, treasure hunting, coming across a real life mermaid, hot fire attraction. What more can you ask for?

There you have it… my Merfolk recommendations in case you want to get more mermaid content or just want to pass it all together for something more on the steamy side. Enjoy..
