The Perfect Genre

What genre would your perfect book be?

Pick a book that represents perfectly its genre.

Is it any wonder that I’m chosing Romance?? Of course not.. it is after all my favorite genre and it can be mixed up with pretty much any other genre, which brings me to the hard part of this question… A perfect Romance book?? Good God!! Don’t you know that picking just one thing it’s so extremely hard… Okay I’ll Try, Block Shot by Kennedy Ryan… It has drama, a deep message within the story, a heart wrenching relationship and of course lots of steam…

The Perfect Setting

Because every story needs the perfect setting.

Pick a book that takes place in a perfect place.

I’m not picky about setting as long as it is done right… it can be from a fantasy land to any city in the world… For instance I loved Emma Scott’s The Butterfly Project and how New York came alive for me in this book… even if there weren’t that many landmarks or anything but it was about attitude and atmosphere…

The Perfect Main Character

Because every book needs that brave and amazing MC.

Pick the perfect main character.

Hazel from Josh and Hazel’s Guide to not dating… I love how she is unapologetically herself throughout the book.. and her quirkyness is adorable..

The Perfect Best Friend

Because we always love that character who supports our MC, no matter what.

Loyal and supportive, pick a character that you think is the best friend ever.

The gang from the off campus series by Elle Kennedy… I love this type of friendships… where they bicker a lot but ultimately they will support each other no matter what..

The Perfect Love Interest

Although not all stories need it, we all love a bit of romance.

Pick a character you think would be an amazing romantic partner.

Michael from the Kiss Quotient… he’s the perfect Book Boyfriend… Need I explain??

The Perfect Villain

Because even when sometime we hate them, we always need them.

Pick a character with the most sinister mind.

The Darkling… I love a villain who had good intentions but gets corrupted by power along the way and his vision gets twisted… the morally grey kind of villain..

The Perfect Family

Our book wouldn’t be the same without that unconditional support from the MC’s family.

I can’t for the life of me remember a healthy family… I guess the books I read had more of the messed up kind…

Perfect Animal or Pet

Because we all need a good loyal companion.

Pick a pet or fantastic animal that you need to see on a book.

Duh! Who wouldn’t want a dragon as a pet…??

The Perfect Plot Twist

“OMG, how I didn’t see that coming!”

Pick a book with the best plot twist.

This is a hard one because I usually spot the twist quite early… and I’m almost never wrong… I guess J.J. McAvoy Ruthless People did surprise me overall not just the twists..

Perfect Trope

Pick that trope you would add to your own book without thinking.

Enemies to lovers.. I love the angst and the push and pull in that trope..

Perfect Cover

Because we all love a good, beautiful and artistic cover.

Pick that cover that you would easily put in your own book.

Simple, Delicate and with the color scheme I love…

Perfect Ending

Because every great adventure has an ending.

Pick a book that has the perfect ending.

Can’t do that… I’m usually not to keen on endings… probably why I never finnish series… It’s hard to end a story and even though I have enjoyed some they aren’t the favorite books on that series…
