Let Me Recommend – Fae Fantasy Romance

IMG_5406

Hey fellow book addicts, what have you been reading lately? I’m currently in the middle of my Tropeathon TBR (mostly) and I find myself in a pickle because my moody reading self is craving Fantasy.. and not just any Fantasy Romance, Fae fantasy romance… And that’s not on my scheduled TBR (So.. it’s easy to see how I will deviate from my plans).

I did add one book that satisfies this reading craving of mine and I love it… I had to share it with you guys and what better way to do that than with recommendations about the same topic…

So, after this long and rambling intro, we are going to appreciate the beauty, power, heroics and deviousness that are the fae… I’m sure you will find one that fits your standards.. Let’s jump into Faerie..

Popular Crowd

I cannot start these recommendations without the top popular fae fantasy books (if you haven’t read any of the books on this list — I don’t know under which rock are you living)

  • The ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas
  • The Folks of Air series by Holly Black
  • The Iron King Series by Julie Kagawa

Within these pages you are going to find a hell of a ride, whether it is to save the courts, a prince, a perilous quest, escaping the evil fae’s clutches, reclaiming your rightful throne.. you name it. It’s non-stop action with elemental magic, cinematic fighting.. and sweet romance.. what more can you ask for?

  • Promised in Fire by Jasmine Walt
  • Wicked Enchantment by Anya Bast
  • The Falconer Series by Elizabeth May
  • The Shadow Reader by Sandy Williams
  • Shadow Kin By M.J. Scott

Deviousnes Incarnate

These are my favorite kind of Fae, the ones you are never quite sure about, they are seductive, deceitful, manipulative.. and our main protagonist needs to be on top of the game at all times.. There’s also action, steamy as heck romance, but what will keep you glued to these stories is the plotting within them…

  • The Final Masquerade by Ariana Nash
  • Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa
  • Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning
  • Night Myst by Yasmine Galenorn
  • Fighting Destiny by Amelia Hutchins
  • Gild by Raven Kennedy
  • Savage Lands by Stacey Marie Brown
  • Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr

This is my recommendation list if you are in a similar fae craving mood. Let me know if you have read any of these books in the comments below and if you have other recommendations.. Please do share…
